Number Stories

In Senior Infants we learn a lot of number number stories. We use lots of different objects to make the number sentences. Here we are using ourselves to tell the story of 4.

Winter Is Here!

Winter is here and with Christmas fast approaching we have made Snowpeople. Children cut out a stencil and used this to sponge paint their snowperson. We went to 5th/6th class to get help making their scarves. Here we are with the finished products:

People In Our Community

We have been learning about the different people who work in our community. We talked about nurses, guards, doctors, post people, shopkeepers and lots more. Some of these came in to visit us. Here are some of the pictures of when a guard came to tell us all about his job.

Trick or Treat for Temple Street

Look at all these scary creatures who came to school today! We all dressed up to raise money for Temple Street Children's Hospital, a cause that is very close to our hearts.

Halloween

Halloween is quickly approaching. We are making Witch Treat boxes to store all our treats in. Here we are hard at work and with our finished products!

Garden

We are already thinking ahead and preparing for Spring. The children each planted a daffodil bulb, keep watching this page to see our progress. 

Autumn Nature Walk

We have been learning about Autumn in Science and the changes that happen during this Season. We have also been talking about journeys in Geography. We combined the two and went on an adventure. We paired up with Junior Infants for this nature walk.
